This paper examines the recidivism rates of young offenders in Australia and focuses on the length of time between criminal activities. Its research indicates that factors such as age, court  experiences and convictions, and past criminal records have an impact on the risk of recidivism among juvenile offenders. It also finds that the duration between crimes is an indicator of the intensity of a youth's delinquency.
