This report highlights the links between parental incarceration and juvenile delinquency, and discusses steps that the government of Oregon is taking in an effort to break this cycle of criminality.  It outlines programs that have been developed in this state to ensure the continuation of parent-child relationships, and to aid released parents' reintegration into their family and society.  It also provides recommendations for improving policies and services.
