This report presents the findings of a study that surveyed Australian adults to investigate community attitudes towards children and public awareness of child abuse. Its findings suggest that awareness of this issue is limited in Australia and that many adults are reluctant to endorse children's rights. The authors offer suggestions for improving awareness and working towards prevention.
