This paper summarizes findings from the 1995 General Social Survey (GSS) of the Family (cycle 10) regarding separated mothers and fathers, and looks specifically at the amount of time each spent with their children in the past year.  It  focuses on men’s attitudes towards, and perceptions of, their parental role.
