This paper looks at the problems children may experience living in a post-divorce custody arrangement as opposed to those children living with both parents (married or common-law).  It examines how different types of custody arrangements affect children's emotional or behavioral problems and finds that children living in some type of post-divorce custody are only slightly more likely to have one or more problems than those children living with both parents.
