This paper briefly summarizes the research on the effect of tv violence on children and adolescents. Although some studies have proven to be inconclusive and several researchers disagree, the majority of the data shows that viewing television violence can lead to harmful effects such as aggressiveness, desensitization to violence, and increased fear of victimization.
