This study, the third in the 'You Bet I Care' series, looks specifically at in-home daycare services, compares the quality of such care to more formal daycare providers across Canada, and summarizes the factors that optimize child care quality.  The report specifically investigates the relationships between quality in family child care homes and 1) caregiver characteristics and attitudes about family child care; 2) the income levels and working conditions of the caregiver; and 3) the caregiver's use of support services such as child care resource programs, networking with other caregivers, and professional development training opportunities.
