This article examines health-risk behaviours among youth, such as: violence, substance abuse, sexual activity, diet, and physical inactivity. This study finds that numerous High School students engage in high-risk behaviours that are associated with four of the major causes of death among adolescents, which are: motor-vehicle crashes, unintentional injuries, homicide, and suicide.
